Welcome Getahun Bayu

Eyes for Africa is pleased to announce that Getahun Bayu will be joining the EFA team in June as a Senior Ophthalmic Nurse. Eyes for Africa will be employing him to work full time at our Meki Eye Clinic to be opened in July at The Meki Hospital.

Getahun is a very experienced Senior Ophthalmic Nurse that will provide much needed eye care to the people living in and around Meki in The Oromia region of Ethiopia.

With support from The Oromia Health Bureau, Meki hospital management and private and public donors we are now able to provide sustainable eye care  to many that have had no access to this service.
