Mr. Seid Idris, curently working as Ophthalmic Officer to train to become a Cataract Surgeon.

In October 2009, Eyes For Africa (EFA) financed his studies at Jimma University, Ethiopia. He has embarked on a 2 year program that is recognised nationally in Ethiopia. Upon successfully completing this program Seid will be qualified to perform cataract surgery, diagnose and treat eye complaints.
EFA has paid for his academic fees and many essential text books. EFA is also funding his accomodation while studying at the university.

In this way, Eyes For Africa are ensuring the work will have a sustainable effect.
